Privacy Policy

Wyn is made to keep your habits to yourself. This policy explains what that means in practice: what the app keeps, where it keeps it, and the few services that play a part.

The short version
  • Your habits, history, notes and name are stored on your devices, not on our servers. We have no servers holding them.
  • There is no account. Wyn never asks for your email, and has no sign-in.
  • No advertising, no analytics and no tracking code. Nothing about you is sold or shared for ads.
  • Apple Health data is read only when you choose a habit that uses it. Automatically read Health values are never stored in Wyn’s iCloud sync or included in exported backup files.

Who we are

Wyn is developed and published by ProApps Solutions (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the app and this website, wynapp.club.

What stays on your device

Everything you put into Wyn is stored in the app’s own storage on your iPhone:

  • your habits, their goals, reminders and appearance;
  • the days you logged, the figures you entered, notes, slips and milestones;
  • the name you gave, and a profile photo if you chose one;
  • your settings, such as which notifications you want.

To show your habits in widgets, controls and on Apple Watch, Wyn passes a summary of the day between your own devices, using storage shared only among Wyn’s parts on your iPhone and Apple’s direct connection to your paired watch. None of it passes through us.

iCloud sync

If you have Wyn Focus and leave iCloud sync on, your habits and manually entered records are kept in step across your devices through Apple’s CloudKit, in the private database of your own iCloud account. Values automatically read from Apple Health are never stored in Wyn’s iCloud sync. Synced data is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest, and we cannot read it. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.

You can turn sync off in Wyn’s Settings at any time. To remove the synced copy, go to Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage on your iPhone.

Apple Health

A habit can log itself from Apple Health: steps, distance, exercise minutes, sleep, time in daylight, mindful minutes and similar figures. Wyn asks for permission to read only the type that habit uses, at the moment you choose it. You can change or withdraw access at any time in the Health app: tap your picture, then Privacy › Apps › Wyn.

  • Wyn only reads from Health. It never writes to it.
  • Health data is read on your device. The day’s figure Wyn keeps for your habit is stored only on that device, in a part of Wyn’s storage that is never synced to iCloud or included in exported backup files. Each of your devices reads its own figure from Health.
  • Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with anyone.

Notifications

Reminders, nudges and wrap-ups are scheduled by the app on your iPhone. There is no notification server, and no device token is sent to us. You can turn notifications off in Wyn’s Settings or in iOS Settings.

Purchases

Wyn Focus is bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your card or billing details.

To check which plan you have and unlock it on your devices, Wyn uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier created by the app, your App Store purchase records, and basic technical details such as app version, device model, country and currency. It does not receive your name, email or anything you log in Wyn. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

Sharing, backups and feedback

Share cards are made on your iPhone and only go where you send them.

Backups you export are a single .wyn file that you keep wherever you choose. They include your habits and manually entered records, but never values automatically read from Apple Health. For automatic Health days, the file can keep only the habit identifier and date, so Wyn can read those days again from Apple Health on the receiving device, with your permission. Restored Health history depends on the data available there. Anyone with the file can read it, so store it as you would any personal document.

Feedback. If you choose to answer a feedback form, it opens in Google Forms and your answers are handled under Google’s Privacy Policy. If you email us, we keep the conversation only as long as needed to help you.

This website

wynapp.club uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. It is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the service; see Vercel’s Privacy Policy.

Your choices and rights

Because your Wyn data is held on your devices and in your own iCloud, you control it directly:

  • See or export it with Settings › Back up now, which saves your habits and manually entered records as one file. Values automatically read from Apple Health are excluded.
  • Delete it with Settings › Erase everything, which removes it from your iPhone and from your iCloud. Deleting the app removes what is on the device.
  • Withdraw permissions for Health or notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to ask what information about you a service provider holds. For anything held by RevenueCat or Apple, write to us and we will help you make the request.

Children

Wyn is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Nothing a child enters in Wyn is sent to us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, mention it in the app’s release notes. The current version always lives at wynapp.club/privacy.
